ALL ABOUT THERAPY
Mental health plays just as important a role as physical health in helping you lead a fulfilling life. Therapy is a process of growth and self-discovery, which involves elements of change. Change, however, can feel challenging without support.
Whether this the first time you are exploring therapy or something you have experienced before, finding someone you can trust and relate to is an essential first step, and it can be daunting to know where to begin.
I offer consultations and therapy sessions for a wide range of difficulties. Every person is unique and my approach is to gain a comprehensive understanding of your circumstances and tailor therapy to your individual needs.
I WORK WITH THE FOLLOWING MODALITIES AND TAILOR THEM TO EACH INDIVIDUAL'S NEEDS:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Analytical Therapy (CAT)
Trauma Focused Therapy
AS A PRACTICING COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGIST, I SPECIALIZE IN THE FOLLOWING:
Childhood Neglect & Lack of Confidence
Childhood Sexual Abuse
Mental Health of Adolescents & Related Difficulties
Grief & Loss
Pre and Post Bariatric Surgery Counselling & Weight Management
COST OF THERAPY
Initial Consultation - £150
Regular Sessions - £150
Couple's Therapy - £200
"Hear Me Out"- £75*
The initial consultation involves a detailed understanding of a client's concerns, symptoms, and emotional well-being, taking into account medical, family and experiential history. It typically lasts a bit longer than regular sessions.
Regular sessions typically last ~50 minutes.
"Hear Me Out" - Longer term therapy may not be what you need or what you are looking for. Sometimes all you need is for someone to hear you out - that's what these shorter 25 minute sessions are meant for.
I offer reduced fee appointments for students and psychologists/psychotherapists in training.
TRAINING & SUPERVISION
I offer training and supervision to both qualified and in-training counselling psychologists and therapists.
